Cycling

180km (3800m D+)

With an impressive bike course, its 3800m of positive altitude difference already places the Evian Triathlon among the most intense, notably with the Col de la Ramaz, its tunnels and its difficult slopes! And that's not all, the Col du Corbier appears on the course a little late and will be the judge of peace for the bike part. To compensate for the necessary efforts, the panorama of Champeillant in the poppy country will accompany the triathletes throughout the race.

Please note: each bike must be fitted with lights at the front and rear (tunnels crossings).

Here are the timing for the bike, each participant must have:

  • started the bike before 9:05am (2:05 hours of race)
  • passed the Col de Saxel before 11:30am (4:30 hours of race)
  • passed the Col de la Ramaz before 2:30pm (7:30 hours of race)
  • passed the Col du Corbier before 5pm (10 hours of race)

Running

42,195km

To round off the effort, the run course will take in the city's symbolic landmarks while skirting the banks of Lake Geneva: the Palais Lumière, the Place Rouge, the Port, the Base Nautique and the Evian Headquarters.

Please note: the running course passes through areas that are poorly lit at the end of the day, so all participants should be equipped with a headlamp.

Here are the timing for the run, each participant must have:

  • started the running before 6:30pm (12:10 hours of race)
  • passed km 14, meaning 2 loops, before 8:25pm (13:25 hours of race)
  • passed km 28, meaning 4 loops, before 10:20pm (15:20 hours of race)
  • crossed the finish line before 11:15pm (16:15 hours of race)
